It’s been a while since we’ve done a concert but, after much effort and more practice we have a concert on Saturday August 31st, at Shobrooke Parish Church, near Crediton, starting at 7pm.
Music by the choir includes anthems by John Rutter, church classics by The Gettys, a roof-raiser by Vince Gill, and a Les Miserables medley (sing along!!).
There’s a piano duet by Tim Matthews with Annie Jones.
John Willman (Baroque recorder) plays music by Handel.
Sheena Galpin, a fantastic vocalist and Gilbert and Sullivan soloist, sings tunes to make your toes tap…
And there are lovely refreshments by a local supplier, locally sourced.
PROCEEDS will go to Shobrooke Church, a lovely venue that has witnessed worship for some 1500 years.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE.
